Canon PowerShot SX20 IS
Actually, I dig for a replacement for my Nikon. SLR missing – or at least approach manner.
In addition, the camera should have an HD video function () for the offspring.
Processing / Operation:
- Processing: Canontypisch good because nothing rattles, everything is there to find camera where it belongs
- Operation: Canontypisch well
- It must be tedious with the lens (we removed every time a bit cumbersome and the carrying strap) mount
Focal Length:
- This is really all focal lengths to cover up megazoom.
Photos:
- Very disappointed, ill-defined (with dozens of settings (focal length, ISO, etc) carefully examined, including manual, about 100 images). However, this will only be visible if you look at the images in Photoshop, for example, can be represented in the original pixel size (muddy edges, washed-resolution) artifacts.
- Colors: at least in the auto mode is covered

As the photos of the little Canon IXUS 70 are also not bad. Possibly. Canon should give up the pixel mania and focus on fewer megapixels, but better line resolution.
BUT: For a “normal” now and photographer who makes little or nothing to do with image editing and is looking for an integrated HD Viedofunktion, this camera very satisfying.
I’m probably looking for “eggs Wollmilchsau” – but unfortunately for Canon not found.
